This is a replacement Ignition Control Module (ICM) that fits a whole range of Dodge vehicles from 1972 to 1978, including the B-series vans, D/W pickups, Ramcharger, and some medium-duty trucks. It's a direct swap for the original part numbers 1230938, 1230939, and several others. The module itself has a black ABS plastic housing to resist moisture and vibration, and it includes metal heat sinks on the back to help dissipate heat and prevent failure. It has a 5-pin connector. This is a non-OEM (aftermarket) part, but it's built to do the same job: it takes the signal from the crankshaft position sensor and controls the ignition coil spark, which should help with starting and running, especially in tougher conditions.
